Tragedy always has a way of forcing us to reflect on what’s truly important in life. It’s times like these when we ask ourselves...WHY? It’s these moments of extreme sorrow that force us to face or even question our own mortality. We are all on this earth on borrowed time, but it’s what we do with that time that defines the legacy we leave behind.
It’s been 4 days since the tragic news broke of Kobe, Gianna and the 7 other souls that lost their lives on that helicopter. We’ve lost icons before, but there’s just something about Kobe’s passing that really hit home and honestly...it stings like hell. Watching all the Kobe tributes and reactions just breaks my heart. Thinking about his legacy and young GiGi who had the same mamba mentality that her father had and knowing we’ll never get a chance to see the greatness that could have been... it’s all just terribly sad.
Don’t wanna drag this out. I guess the point I’m trying to make is, LIFE IS SHORT. Tomorrow is never promised. Hug your loved ones, tell them you love them. Holding a grudge? Let it go. Mend those broken relationships. Don’t wait until it’s too late. Love, forgive, be kind.
Let’s be better humans.
Rest easy champ, Gianna, Alyssa, Keri,
John, Christina, Payton, Sarah & Ara. My heartfelt condolences to all the families affected by this tragedy.
Love you guys!
